Clearinghouse
Clearinghouse shares current information about events, research, advocacy, and policy regarding Child Safety and Injury Prevention and FASD. Interested members of the public may subscribe to the TOPDD electronic group and will automatically receive information when it is disseminated. To subscribe to the clearinghouse, please send an email to top@hhsc.state.tx.us with subscribe in the subject line.
Bicycle Safety Events
TOPDD works with community groups to develop safety events. Have you ever heard of a Bike rodeo? They make learning about bicycle safety fun. TOPDD and its partners, the Rotary Club of Dallas and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (Dallas). hosts an annual bicycle rodeo in which hundreds of children and caregivers learn rules to ride a bicycle safely and about the importance of always wearing a helmet.
