Bike Rodeo and Child Safety Day Model

TOPDD promotes child safety by sponsoring Bike Rodeo and Child Safety Day Events. Here are some helpful tips for these events.

  • Community partners that support the event with volunteers and donations (rotary clubs, university student groups, local businesses, etc.)
  • Location with plenty of parking lot, or flat space for the Bicycle Rodeo portion of the event
  • Community partners that participate in the event by distributing a variety of safety information (police department, fire department, county task forces, etc.)
  • Schools and other child friendly entities that help with advertisement and recruitment of participants
